From navigating long distance and geographical hurdles to building a life together, Nicole and Caryl's love story is one of patience, communication and unwavering support. Six years of long-distance drives, late-night calls and inside jokes about golf scores led to their wedding day at Eden Gardens in Moorpark, surrounded by palms, string lights and everyone they love.
Getting Ready
Caryl and his groomsmen started the day with a lineup of custom bobbleheads made in their likeness, then walked the garden paths in black tuxedos, with Caryl in a white dinner jacket. Nicole revealed her gown to her bridesmaids in sage green inside the white gazebo, and their reactions said it all.
A First Look and Private Vows
Nicole walked down the shaded garden path for their first look, and Caryl was wiping away happy tears before she even reached him. Tucked among the greenery, they read their vows out loud to each other for the first time: "You are the love of my existence, my dream girl, my soulmate, and my best friend."
A Ceremony Under the Palms
Guests filled the lawn beneath the palms and string lights as the bridesmaids walked down the aisle. During the ceremony, their families draped the traditional veil and cord over Nicole and Caryl, and they promised each other, "I pick you, I choose you, I love you."
Speeches, Dances and a Cup Noodle Bar
Dinner was served on the patio under strands of bistro lights, where heartfelt speeches brought tears of joy. Nicole and Caryl made their grand entrance and shared their first dance in front of the sweetheart table, and the late-night snack was a cup noodle bar with a sign that read "Our love was instant!"

About Eden Gardens
Eden Gardens is a garden wedding venue in Moorpark, in Ventura County, with four acres of palms, winding paths, brooks, fountains, a pond and a rose garden, all strung with lights. Couples can marry in the Ceremony Garden, a grassy knoll ringed with palms, and celebrate in the garden reception area or the open-sided Pavilion. The venue hosts up to 300 seated guests, with catering by its on-site caterer, Command Performance Catering. For portraits, plan time along the shaded garden paths and in the white gazebo.
