Jenn and Chris's Wedding at Tivoli Italian Villa in Fallbrook, CA
Jenn and Chris celebrated nine years together at Tivoli Italian Villa in Fallbrook, surrounded by family and friends, bougainvillea and old oak trees. Their story goes back to two college kids walking to their 11am class together, and their wedding day felt just as easy and full of laughter.
Getting Ready
The bridesmaids started the morning in matching pink pajamas, crowding around Jenn for hugs. Across the villa, Chris and his groomsmen in tan suits gathered in the lounge, posing around a leather couch and shooting a few rounds of pool before the ceremony.
Letters in the Garden
Before the ceremony, Jenn and Chris met in the garden under the bright pink bougainvillea and read letters to each other. Then they took a walk through the grounds hand in hand, laughing the whole way.
Vows Under the Oaks
Guests took their seats on the lawn beneath the oaks, framed by blush, peach and white florals on pleated white pillars. Jenn walked down the aisle with her dad, who wrapped Chris in a hug at the altar. Chris and Jenn traded vows that traced their story back to college, and walked back up the aisle to cheers from everyone they love.
Speeches, Dances and a Toast to Remember
Dinner was served at long farm tables under shade sails in the courtyard. The speeches were the heart of the night: the best man on how Jenn turned a "cutthroat BP player" into a big softie, Chris's sister on watching her brother grow into the man crying happy tears at his own wedding, and a closing toast about the "sauce" that had everyone laughing. Jenn danced with her dad while Chris danced with his mom on the tiled patio under string lights, and the couple sealed the cake cutting with a kiss.

Tivoli Italian Villa is a Trademark Venues estate in Fallbrook, in north San Diego County, built in an Old World Italian style and surrounded by herb gardens, orchards, olive groves and lawns. Couples can choose Piazza Tivoli, an open-air courtyard with fountains and stonework, the Tesoro di Tivoli terrace with hillside views, and the Al Fresco pavilion for dining and dancing. The venue hosts up to 175 guests and includes in-house catering. For portraits, plan time among the bougainvillea and palms in the late afternoon.
