From one too many margaritas on their first date to saying "I do" under the California sun, Kieu and Anthony's wedding day at Serra Plaza in San Juan Capistrano was full of happy tears, big laughs and the kind of love that pulls an entire family in closer.
Getting Ready
Kieu's bouquet of white roses and baby's breath waited on a chair beside her lace heels while her bridesmaid helped her into her gown. Outside, her bridesmaids in buttery yellow crowded around her with their bouquets, and Anthony's groomsmen in tan suits helped him into his sage green jacket.
A First Look Under the Arches
Kieu and Anthony met among the arches and draped curtains of Serra Plaza for their first look, and the long hug that followed set the tone for the rest of the day.
Vows Under the Chandeliers
Guests filled the courtyard beneath the trees and crystal chandeliers, with white hydrangeas lining the aisle. Surrounded by the people who shaped them into who they are, Kieu and Anthony promised to choose each other every single day, for the rest of their lives.
Roses, Toasts and a Courtyard Reception
The bridesmaids danced in waving red roses, the newlyweds made their grand entrance to a cheering crowd, and the toasts brought both big laughs and happy tears. Kieu shared an emotional dance with her dad, and the couple cut their cake beneath a "The Paganos" topper as Mr. and Mrs. for the first time.

About Serra Plaza
Serra Plaza is a Spanish Colonial-style venue on Del Obispo Street in San Juan Capistrano, next to the Los Rios Historic District. Its courtyard is the centerpiece, with hand-laid stone pavers, adobe-style walls, draped loggias, a Spanish-style fountain and shady trees strung with bistro lights, and the indoor Lounge adds a fireplace and exposed beams. Outdoor ceremonies and receptions host up to 300 guests, with in-house catering and bar service. For portraits, plan time under the draped archways and around the fountain.
