Marina and Tyler's Wedding at Monserate Winery in Fallbrook, CA
Marina and Tyler's love story is full of heart, hobbies and one very good Cavalier named Milo. What started in a close-knit circle of friends became a marriage surrounded by a big, loving family at Monserate Winery's Monte Bella, where rows of vineyards and a quiet lake set the scene.
Getting Ready
Marina's gown hung against the ivy-covered walls of the estate while her bridesmaids in sage green laughed under white paper parasols by the water. Across the grounds, Tyler's groomsmen in tan suits hoisted him into the air for one last laugh before the ceremony.
A First Look by the Lake
Marina's veil caught the breeze on the lakeside path, and when Tyler turned around for their first look, he could not stop grinning.
Vows by the Water
Guests gathered on the lawn beside the lake, shaded by paper parasols, while tall pillars of white orchids and dahlias framed the altar. Their vows were full of humor and sweetness, including promises to refill the water bowl and to wake up at all hours to watch Japanese volleyball. After the rings, Marina and Tyler threw their hands in the air and walked back up the aisle to cheers from everyone they love.
Toasts, Dances and a Champagne Tower
Dinner was set at long tables on the lawn overlooking the lake and vineyards. Marina's best friend of 17 years described a woman who has always followed her heart, from going back to school for nursing to traveling solo across Europe and India, and Tyler's best friend of almost 20 years talked about the brother he found in him. The newlyweds shared their first dance under the trees, poured a champagne tower together and kept the dance floor full late into the night.
Tyler once told Marina that if they got married, she would find out what it is like to be part of a big family. Watch their highlight film and wedding reel above to see that day come true.
About Monserate Winery
Monserate Winery is a vineyard estate on Gird Road in Fallbrook, in north San Diego County, with views of vine-covered hills and a lake. The property has several ceremony and reception settings, including the lakeside lawns of Monte Bella where Marina and Tyler said "I do," along with stone buildings like the Barrel Room. Outdoor ceremonies can host up to 250 guests, and catering and bar service are handled in-house. For portraits, plan time along the lake path and between the vine rows near golden hour.
