Marina & Tyler's Monte Bella Wedding at Monserate Winery
August 9, 2026 · Monte Bella at Monserate Winery, Fallbrook
A Monte Bella Wedding at Monserate Winery
Marina and Tyler matched on Coffee Meets Bagel, and these days you will find them snowboarding, mountain biking, camping or hanging out with their dog Milo. They celebrated on August 9, 2026 at Monte Bella, the Tuscan style estate at Monserate Winery in Fallbrook, in a palette of green and white. A first look on the path by the lake led to parasol portraits with the bridesmaids, vows beside the pond between columns of white orchids, and an evening with a sweetheart table by the water, a lifted first dance, a champagne tower and cake cutting. Here is their Monte Bella wedding, photographed by One and Only Production.
Details and Getting Ready at Monte Bella
The morning started at Monte Bella's stone villa, framed by tall Italian cypress trees. Marina's flat lay brought together a monogrammed ring box, satin bow heels and her invitation suite, and she got ready in a lace robe beside her gown, with her bridesmaids in matching sage pajamas under the bridal suite chandelier.
Tyler Gets Ready Under the Ivy Loggia
Tyler got ready in a black tuxedo along the ivy covered loggia, with his groomsmen in tan suits by his side, before a few photos with the guys against the ivy wall.
Into the Gown in the Bridal Suite
Marina stepped into her beaded gown beneath the crystal chandelier in the bridal suite, with her bridesmaids, now in sage satin dresses, by her side as she finished getting ready.
The Wedding Party at Monte Bella
Marina's bridesmaids in sage and floral dresses carried white calla lily bouquets and twirled white paper parasols by the lake, and the full wedding party in sage and tan cheered the couple on in front of the stone villa.
A First Look by the Lake
A bridesmaid fluffed Marina's train on the lakeside path before she walked up behind Tyler, with cypress trees across the water. He turned around, they held each other by the lake, and her long veil swept across the grass as they shared a kiss.
Portraits Around Monte Bella
Before guests arrived, Marina and Tyler explored the estate: through the stone pillared gates, around the fountain courtyard, under a garden arch and down the ceremony aisle between floral arches overlooking the vineyard.
Ceremony Details by the Pond
The ceremony was set beside the pond with rattan chairs and an aisle of white flowers and string lights facing the vineyard. Columns of white roses, orchids, anthurium and hydrangea framed the altar, and an arched mirror sign welcomed guests.
Vows Beside the Pond
Tyler walked down the aisle with his parents as guests shaded themselves with white parasols, followed by the ring bearer and flower girls in floral crowns. Marina walked in with her parents, read her vows into the microphone, and after their first kiss Tyler dipped her for one more at the end of the aisle.
Golden Hour and a Sweetheart Table by the Lake
As the sun dropped, Marina and Tyler headed back to the lake and the cypress garden for golden hour portraits. Their sweetheart table waited by the water, surrounded by white florals.
Planning a Monte Bella Wedding at Monserate Winery
Monte Bella is the Tuscan-inspired estate at Monserate Winery in Fallbrook, in northern San Diego County. Stone buildings framed by tall Italian cypress trees, a fountain courtyard, a lake and pond, and rows of vineyard make it feel like a slice of Italy about an hour from south Orange County. Here is what we learned photographing and filming Marina and Tyler's day, for couples planning their own Monte Bella wedding. You can also watch Marina and Tyler's Monserate Winery wedding film.
Getting Ready Suites
The bridal suite is bright and white, with a crystal chandelier, cream furniture and tall black-framed glass doors wrapped in ivy. The light is soft and even for detail shots and the gown reveal, and there is room for a full bridal party. Hanging the dress in the doorway against the ivy makes an easy, timeless photo. On the groom's side, the ivy-covered loggia worked beautifully for portraits with the groomsmen and a quiet moment with Mom.
Best First Look Spots
Marina and Tyler did their first look on the pathway along the lake, a spot their planner, Details Darling, recommended. The water, the cypress trees across the lake and the open sky make a wide, cinematic frame, with enough space for photo and video to stay back and let the moment happen. The stone pillared gates and the fountain courtyard in front of the villa are great alternatives, and both are a short walk away for portraits right after.
The Pond Ceremony
Their ceremony faced the pond, with the vineyard rising behind columns of white orchids and roses, an aisle lined with white florals, and rattan chairs on the lawn. For a summer afternoon ceremony, plan for sun. Marina and Tyler handed out white parasols, which kept guests comfortable and looked beautiful in photos. Ask your planner about a water station before guests are seated.
Cocktail Hour and Reception
Cocktail hour moved to the pergola while family photos wrapped up, and dinner was set on the lawn with a floral sweetheart table right at the water's edge. After toasts, guests moved inside to the ballroom for the champagne tower, cake cutting and dancing. Monserate Winery handles catering in house, so ask about tastings early.
Golden Hour Portraits
Save 20 to 30 minutes near sunset. The lake path, the cypress garden and the winding path by the waterfall all glow in late light, and a long veil catching the breeze by the water is one of the most memorable frames on the estate.
Timeline Tips From Their Day
Marina and Tyler's August timeline worked well: details and getting ready in the early afternoon, a first look around 2:30, wedding party portraits at 3, family photos at 3:30, a 4:40 ceremony, then portraits during cocktail hour and again at golden hour. Doing the first look let them spend most of cocktail hour with their guests.
