A Pastel Garden Wedding at JW Marriott Anaheim Resort

Linh and Hoan grew up in church together, and on June 13, 2026 they married at JW Marriott Anaheim Resort in Anaheim, California. Their palette of light blue with pastel rainbow florals carried through the whole day, from the bridesmaids' dresses to the flower-lined aisle. They shared their first look on the hotel's sunny garden terrace, said their vows in the Serenity Garden and added a playful twist with a chicken nugget unity ceremony. The Arbor Ballroom reception brought a first dance on their monogrammed floor, boba from Tap & Sip, Joe's Italian Ice and a cowboy hat toss, before the newlyweds slipped out to a balcony to watch the Disney fireworks. Getting Ready in the JW Marriott Anaheim Suites

Linh got ready in a bright suite where floor-to-ceiling windows filled the room with soft daylight for her dress moment with her bridesmaids in light blue. Hoan and his groomsmen used a room just off the lobby, so moving between portraits never cut into the timeline.

First Look on the Garden Terrace

The resort's outdoor terraces are lined with potted trees, string lights and bright flower beds. Linh walked up behind Hoan there in the early afternoon, and the open sky and greenery gave us clean, airy portraits even in the midday sun.

Lobby Chandelier and Grand Staircase Portraits

The lobby is one of the most striking hotel interiors in Orange County, with a sculptural amber chandelier, warm wood ceilings and a sweeping staircase. We photographed Hoan's portraits, the full wedding party and a few dramatic couple shots here, and it is a great indoor option on hot afternoons.

A Ceremony in the Serenity Garden

Their vows took place in the Serenity Garden under string lights, with towering pillars of delphinium, roses and pastel blooms lining the aisle and white parasols for guests. A chicken nugget unity ceremony had everyone laughing before a celebratory dip kiss down the aisle.

Reception in the Arbor Ballroom

The Arbor Ballroom glowed warm for the reception, with a white dance floor marked by the couple's gold monogram and a pastel floral backdrop behind the stage. After their first dance and toasts, the night turned into a party with boba from Tap & Sip, Joe's Italian Ice, a cowboy hat toss and a dance floor full of glow sticks.

Disney Fireworks from the Balcony

JW Marriott Anaheim sits in the Anaheim Resort District next to Disneyland, so couples can step out to a balcony on fireworks nights. After her final outfit change, Linh and Hoan slipped away with us to watch the show light up the sky.
