Vanessa & Ryan's Covina Tea Ceremony Wedding

October 18, 2026 · Tea Ceremony in Covina · Reception at Blooming VIP, Rosemead

A Tea Ceremony Wedding in Covina

Vanessa and Ryan met on Hinge, and their first date was at a restaurant called Heroes. They love hiking, traveling, trying new food, Italian dinners and movie nights, and they laugh about everything from wrestling and video games to videos of their nieces. They married on October 18, 2026, starting the day at Vanessa's parents' home in Covina with door games and a tea ceremony, then celebrating with family and friends at Blooming VIP in Rosemead. The palette was white, pink and red, from Vanessa's pink bouquet to Ryan's burgundy suit. Here is the first half of their wedding day, photographed by One and Only Production.

Red and Pink Tea Ceremony Details

Vanessa's parents' home was dressed for the occasion, with floral garlands at the door, a red rose arch, double happiness hearts and a red tea set waiting for the ceremony.

Ryan and His Arizona Friends

Ryan got ready at the Hilton San Gabriel and arrived in a burgundy suit with Vanessa's pink bouquet, joined by his friends from Arizona, including his best friend Robbie.

Door Games

Vanessa's family and her sister-in-law Amy ran the door games, and Ryan and his friends had to work and pay their way in, with red envelopes passed through the window and plenty of laughs from both sides.

Making It Through the Door

Once the family was satisfied, Ryan finally made it through the front door with the bouquet as everyone inside cheered and filmed.

Vanessa's Mom Brings Her Out

Vanessa's mom walked her out through a curtained doorway tied with a red bow and placed her hand in Ryan's at the rose arch.

Tea Ceremony with Vanessa's Family

The tea ceremony started with Vanessa's parents and continued through her aunts and uncles, each sharing red envelopes, jewelry and a hug or two.

Tea Ceremony with Both Families

Ryan's family and the rest of the relatives took their turns next, with Vanessa's nieces close by the whole time.

Family Photos

After the tea ceremony we took family photos under the rose arch, with Vanessa's parents, her brothers Ricky and Derrick, her sister-in-law Amy and the rest of the family.

Vanessa and Her Nieces

Vanessa's nieces, Zoey and Tory, stole a few frames in their white and red dresses.

Portraits Under the Rose Arch

Before heading out for the rest of the day, Vanessa and Ryan took a few portraits under the rose arch, Vanessa in her lace gown and Ryan in burgundy.
