Valerie & Jason at Five Crowns

A Five Crowns Wedding in Corona del Mar

Valerie and Jason met on Coffee Meets Bagel. She loves cats, vacations and the gym; he loves dogs, pickleball and eating, and what makes them laugh most is Jason's goofiness and Valerie's responses to it. They married on February 28, 2026 at Five Crowns in Corona del Mar, with about 85 loved ones in one place, which is exactly what they were looking forward to. The palette was sage green, white and black, with bridesmaids in sage, groomsmen in grey and white florals throughout. The day moved from a first look and portraits by the red phone booth out front to a ceremony under a draped canopy, dinner, speeches and a full dance floor. Here is their Five Crowns wedding, photographed by One and Only Production.

The Details at Five Crowns

Five Crowns greeted guests with its sign and a red phone booth wrapped in red roses. Inside, a welcome sign, framed photos and menus tied with sage green name tags set the tone, with white roses and baby's breath throughout.

Valerie Gets Ready

Valerie got ready in a room with red patterned walls and framed ship prints, in a lace gown with a long veil and a white bouquet. A family member helped with her veil, and her bridesmaids in sage green kept her laughing.

Jason Gets Ready

Jason wore a black tuxedo and bow tie with a white boutonniere, and shared a few laughs with family before the first look.

First Look at Five Crowns

Jason waited with his eyes closed in front of the red patterned wall while Valerie walked up behind him, train trailing. One tap on the shoulder and they were both all smiles.

Ceremony Under the Canopy at Five Crowns

The ceremony took place under a draped canopy with string lights, black chairs and a white backdrop dressed in greenery and white flowers. Officiant Justin Wu led the ceremony, Valerie walked in with a family member, and the moment they had looked forward to, seeing Valerie walk down the aisle, arrived right on cue. Jason cheered all the way back up the aisle.

The Wedding Party, Family and Friends

Valerie's bridesmaids in sage green and Jason's groomsmen in grey suits brought plenty of energy to the red phone booth and the brick walkway out front. Then every guest gathered under the canopy for one big group photo, which was exactly what Valerie and Jason wanted: all of their loved ones in one place.

Portraits at Five Crowns

Five Crowns looks like an English country inn, so we used all of it: the red patterned walls inside, the rose covered phone booth, the brick path, a white bench and the Tudor style front of the building. Jason's goofiness and Valerie's reactions to it made these easy.

Reception Details

Dinner was set in the glass roofed dining room, with long tables in white linens, black ribbon on every napkin and a sweetheart table banked in white flowers. And of course, prime rib was on the menu.

Grand Entrance and First Dance

The wedding party danced their way into the reception before Valerie and Jason made their grand entrance. Their first dance happened under the canopy, now glowing with string lights, while their guests looked on.

Parent Dances

Valerie and Jason each shared a dance with a parent under the string lights.

Speeches

Members of the wedding party and family took the microphone, and Valerie and Jason spent most of the speeches laughing from the sweetheart table.

Table Visits and Photo Booth

Valerie and Jason made the rounds for hugs and toasts with every table, while guests piled into the photo booth with hats and props.

Dance Floor at Five Crowns

Once the floor opened, it stayed full, with Valerie and Jason right in the middle of their friends all night.

Night Portraits Out Front

We finished with a few portraits out front after dark, with the red phone booth and the Five Crowns sign all lit up.
