A Sterling Hills Wedding in Camarillo

Stephanie and Kevin met on Hinge, then found out they grew up in the same hometown and went to the same schools. They connected over shared experiences and values and a love for the outdoors, travel and new restaurants, along with boba on Sundays and Target and Costco runs on Friday nights. They married on June 28, 2025 at Sterling Hills by Wedgewood Weddings in Camarillo. The day had a limo arrival, first looks with family, an outdoor ceremony at the pagoda, golden hour on the lawn and an indoor reception with a sweetheart table, all in blush pink and peach. Stephanie put on the finishing touches at Sterling Hills, then stepped outside with her veil and a bouquet of peach and pink roses and dahlias. The fountain, the pagoda and the arched wooden doors all made an appearance before her bridesmaids joined her in dusty pink.

Kevin and His Groomsmen

Kevin wore a classic black tuxedo with a bow tie, a white pocket square and a pink rose boutonniere. His groomsmen kept things loose with plenty of laughs by the hedges.

First Looks with Family

Before seeing each other, Stephanie and Kevin each had first looks with family. Kevin's mom got the first look at him in his tuxedo, and Stephanie shared first looks with family out on the lawn.

Stephanie and Kevin's First Look

Stephanie and Kevin saw each other for the first time by the Sterling Hills fountain. They took a few quiet minutes together before the rest of the afternoon got going, and it was all smiles from there.

The Wedding Party and the Limo

Stephanie's bridesmaids, Kevin's groomsmen and the rest of the crew arrived by limo, so of course the white limo made it into the photos. The Spanish style entry and arched wooden doors at Sterling Hills gave the whole group a beautiful backdrop.

Portraits at Sterling Hills

We had time for portraits by the patio fountain and under the pagoda, with the golf course hills behind them. Stephanie's long veil did a lot of the work.

Ceremony Details at Sterling Hills

The ceremony was set on the lawn beside the clubhouse, with an aisle running through the garden to the wooden pagoda. Peach and pink florals hung from the pagoda corners, matching the welcome sign.

Ceremony at the Pagoda

Guests filled the lawn for the 5:00 pm ceremony, officiated by Louis Candelaria. Kevin walked in with his mom, Stephanie came down the garden aisle, and they read their vows under the pagoda. There were a lot of laughs before their first kiss as a married couple.

Cocktail Hour and Family Photos

Cocktail hour was also time for family photos at the pagoda, ending with everyone together in one big group. Stephanie and Kevin still found a minute for a drink of their own.

Reception at Sterling Hills

The indoor reception room at Sterling Hills has wood beams, iron chandeliers and a checkered floor. Round tables carried peach and pink centerpieces, and the sweetheart table sat in front of blush drapes and tall windows.

Grand Entrance and First Dances

The wedding party lined up at the arched doors before Stephanie and Kevin made their grand entrance. They went right into their first dance, then Stephanie and Kevin each shared a dance with a parent, Kevin with his mom.

Golden Hour at Sterling Hills

During dinner, we stepped outside for golden hour. The sun dropped behind the trees on the Sterling Hills lawn and gave us warm light for a few of our favorite portraits of the day.

Toasts and Cake Cutting

Family and friends took the microphone beside the sweetheart table, and there were plenty of laughs. Then Stephanie and Kevin cut their white tiered cake, topped with pink roses.

The dance floor filled up fast once the music started and stayed that way. We finished the night with Stephanie and Kevin by the lit fountain outside.
