Mariana & Danny at Padua Hills Theatre
September 12, 2025 · Padua Hills Theatre, Claremont
A Padua Hills Theatre Wedding in Claremont
Mariana and Danny met in their very first year of community college, when Danny asked her a question about financial aid. He sat right behind her in math class, walked her to her car, and they would talk for hours beside their parked cars. Fifteen years later, they married on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Padua Hills Theatre in Claremont. The palette was green and gold, with bridesmaids in shades of green, white calla lilies and touches of purple. The day moved from a first look under the trees to a ceremony with mariachi, a private moment in the Olive Grove and a reception in the ballroom. Here is their Padua Hills wedding, photographed by One and Only Production.
The Details
Mariana and Danny's flat lay was all green and gold: a green invitation, antique keys, wax seals and a green velvet ring box, with white roses and tulips. Danny's brown shoes and a pocket watch held his ring box.
Mariana Gets Ready
Mariana got ready with her bridesmaids, starting in robes beside her hanging gown and finishing with a long cathedral veil. Her sister Ale, her best friend Becca, Danny's sister Josie and her cousin Lupita stood with her.
Danny Gets Ready
Danny wore a navy suit with a white boutonniere. With no official groomsmen, his friends kept the mood easy, and one of them jumped on his back for a photo.
First Look Under the Trees
Danny waited on a brick path under the trees at Padua Hills Theatre while Mariana walked up behind him. After 15 years together, the first look still brought happy tears, and Danny read a letter from Mariana.
Portraits at Padua Hills Theatre
Padua Hills Theatre gave us shaded brick paths, a tiered fountain and an open hillside above Claremont. Mariana's cathedral veil and the late afternoon sun did the rest.
The Wedding Party
Mariana's bridesmaids wore mismatched shades of green and carried purple and white bouquets. Clay and Miguel stood in as unofficial groomsmen, and the whole group had a lot of fun on the hilltop.
Ceremony Details
Guests were welcomed with a gold mirror sign, and an aisle of white chairs led to a wrought iron gazebo draped in white with white florals. It was an unplugged ceremony, so phones stayed away until Mariana reached the altar.
Ceremony at Padua Hills Theatre
Mariachi Antiguo de Mexico played as guests arrived, and Mariana and Danny married under the trees with a bilingual officiant. An image of the Virgin Mary stood at the altar, and the couple presented white roses during the ceremony. Afterward they slipped away to the Olive Grove to sign their license privately.
Reception in the Ballroom
The reception moved into the ballroom at Padua Hills Theatre, with long tables, black lanterns, white tulips and Mariana and Danny's monogram glowing on the wall.
Grand Entrance and First Dance
Mariana and Danny made their entrance, then celebrated with Mariachi Antiguo de Mexico before their first dance. Photos from their years together played on the screen behind them.
Parent Dances and Toasts
Mariana and Danny each shared a parent dance, and then they took the microphone themselves to thank everyone who came to celebrate.
Cutting the Cake
A heart shaped cake with piped ruffles sat under the chandelier, and the cake cutting ended with each of them feeding the other a bite.
Games and the Dance Floor
Reception games got the whole room on its feet, and the dance floor stayed full for the rest of the night. Danny is not shy about dancing, even if he does not know all the words.
Night Portraits and a Limo Exit
We stepped out for a few portraits under the lit trees before Mariana and Danny said goodnight and climbed into a white stretch limo.
