A Walnut Grove Wedding in Moorpark

Mariam and David met while working together in public accounting at PwC, and on May 30, 2026 they married at The Walnut Grove at Tierra Rejada Farms in Moorpark, California. Their palette of ivory, lavender and soft sage greenery was a perfect match for the venue's walnut orchard and rose gardens.

The First Look

After a lavender and ivory flat lay and getting ready with her sisters and bridesmaids, Mariam met David for a first look in the rose garden. Portraits followed with the bridal party by the stone fireplace and under the walnut trees, including a few dreamy under the veil photos.

The Ceremony

Mariam's sister Leanna officiated the ceremony beneath an arch of white wooden doors and ivory blooms, with lavender clad bridesmaids, flower girls and ring bearers leading the way down the aisle. After the ring exchange, David's family placed a lasso over the newlyweds.

The Reception

The reception opened with an Armenian tradition as family and friends showered the couple with money on the dance floor. Then came a first dance to Can't Help Falling in Love with a final dip, parent dances, heartfelt speeches by the fireplace, a dessert cart, live watercolor portraits and a packed dance floor under the string lights.
