A Summit House Wedding in Fullerton

Judy and Joshua almost met in college, when a mutual friend tried to set them up, but the timing was not right. Ten years later they matched on Hinge and only then realized how close they had come the first time. These days their dates are built around trying a new bakery, restaurant or drink spot. On Saturday, May 30, 2026, they married at Summit House in Fullerton, an English country manor style venue set in Vista Park among sycamore trees and rose gardens. Their palette was white, pastels and light pink. The day held a first look with private vows, a gazebo ceremony led by Joshua's aunt, a reception full of parent dances and toasts, a grand prize game and a packed dance floor. Invitation, Rings and Wedding Details

The details came first: a red ring box against the ivory stationery, pastel blooms, lace heels and a pair of tiny bride and groom figurines.

Getting Ready in the Bridal Suite

After hair and makeup at Must Makeup, Judy and her bridesmaids got dressed in the round, window-lined bridal suite at Summit House. Matching pink pajamas came first, then the strapless ball gown.

Judy and Her Bridesmaids Under the Sycamores

Maid of honor Elaine and the bridesmaids in blush pink joined Judy under the sycamore trees of Vista Park. Then Judy took a few portraits on her own, from the lawn to the doorways of the manor.

Joshua and His Groomsmen

Joshua got ready with co-best men Jonathan, his brother, and Rai, plus the rest of his groomsmen in black tuxedos. They took over the bar for a few photos before heading out to the lawn.

A First Look and Private Vows

Joshua waited under the trees while Judy walked up behind him. After the first look they read their vows to each other privately, with no one else around.

Wedding Party Portraits

Four bridesmaids in blush and four groomsmen in black tuxedos filled out the group shots under the trees, with a dip and plenty of cheering.

A Gazebo Ceremony in Vista Park

The ceremony took place at the gazebo in Vista Park, framed with pink and white florals from Ciat Flower. Joshua's aunt Josephine officiated, and Judy and Joshua walked back up the aisle as newlyweds.

After the ceremony we took Judy and Joshua around the grounds, from the fountain courtyard and the manor doorways to the lawn in late afternoon light, and back to the gazebo with family.

Inside, the room was set with pastel pink centerpieces and white linens against a wall of windows, with a few sweet treats set out for guests.

Grand Entrance, First Dance and Parent Dances

The groomsmen and bridesmaids danced their way in before Judy and Joshua made their entrance and went straight into their first dance, followed by the father daughter and mother son dances.

Welcome speeches and toasts from family and the wedding party filled the room, and Judy and Joshua then cut a white cake topped with pink roses.

A grand prize game got the whole room on its feet, then Judy and Joshua thanked their guests and DJ Danny Ko of Life Stories opened the dance floor.
