Jennifer & Kevin at Diamond Seafood Palace 3

A Diamond Seafood Palace 3 Wedding in Westminster

Jennifer and Kevin met as civil engineering students at San Jose State University. Jennifer loves baking cookies and reading, Kevin loves barbecue, running and biking, and the two of them still crack each other up with inside jokes, funny videos and terrible karaoke. They married on October 11, 2025, starting with a Vietnamese tea ceremony at home, then a first look and private vows at Garden Grove Park and a reception at Diamond Seafood Palace 3 in Westminster. The palette was sage green, lavender and white, with red and white ao dai for the traditions. Here is their Diamond Seafood Palace wedding, photographed by One and Only Production.

The Tea Ceremony at Home

Jennifer and Kevin's day began with a Vietnamese tea ceremony at home, in a room dressed with white draping, red and white florals and a double happiness symbol. Kevin's groomsmen arrived in blue ao dai carrying red gift boxes, the family emcees guided everyone through the introductions, and the couple served tea to their families.

Ao Dai Portraits

After the tea ceremony we took a few quiet minutes for portraits. Jennifer wore a red lace ao dai with a long train and headpiece, Kevin wore white with gold embroidery, and the wedding party joined in pink and blue.

The Details

The flat lay came together at the hotel: an arched invitation, a sage velvet ring box, a watch, pearl detailed heels and a lipstick engraved with Jennifer's name.

Getting Ready at Home2 Suites by Hilton Garden Grove

Jennifer and her bridesmaids started the afternoon in matching pajamas at Home2 Suites by Hilton in Garden Grove, then changed into sage green to help with her gown and cathedral veil. Kevin put on a dark green suit down the hall with his groomsmen in light grey.

First Look and Private Vows at Garden Grove Park

Kevin waited under the trees at Garden Grove Park while Jennifer walked up behind him. After the first look they read private vows to each other, and Kevin needed a moment to wipe away a tear.

Portraits at Garden Grove Park

Garden Grove Park gave us big shade trees, a tall green hedge and plenty of open lawn for Jennifer's long train. Her cathedral veil caught the breeze, and her lavender and white bouquet stood out against all that green.

The Wedding Party at Garden Grove Park

Bridesmaids in sage green and groomsmen in light grey joined Jennifer and Kevin on the lawn, and the groomsmen could not resist picking Kevin up one more time.

Welcome at Diamond Seafood Palace 3

At Diamond Seafood Palace 3 in Westminster, round tables were set with white linens, rattan chargers and sage napkins, with lavender and white florals throughout and a boba bar from Main Squeeze. Jennifer and Kevin greeted guests at a white floral arch for welcome photos as everyone arrived.

Grand Entrance and First Dance

The wedding party danced their way into the dining room before Jennifer and Kevin made their grand entrance. They chose "My Love" by Justin Timberlake as their romantic song, and their first dance ended in a low cloud of fog.

Parent Dances and Cake Cutting

Jennifer and Kevin each shared a dance with family, then cut a white tiered cake topped with a gold JK monogram and lavender roses.

Speeches and Table Greetings in Ao Dai

Family and members of the wedding party gave speeches and toasts from the front of the room. Then Jennifer and Kevin changed back into their ao dai and visited every table for a toast and a photo with each group of guests.

T Shirt Toss and Dance Floor

Jennifer changed into a short white dress for the party, and the t shirt toss kicked things off. The dance floor stayed full from there, with family and friends dancing late into the night.

Night Portraits

We finished with night portraits at the floral arch, a stop at the boba bar and a toast at the bar in Jennifer's second look.
