A Beverly Hills Engagement Session with Bax and Lana

Jadee and Richard brought the whole family to their engagement session: their two dogs, Bax and Lana, dressed for the occasion in matching bow ties. We started at Will Rogers Memorial Park in Beverly Hills, with its palm-lined paths, fountain and pond. After the family portraits, Jadee and Richard changed into a white dress and black suit for golden hour in the roses, then finished just across Sunset Boulevard at the Beverly Hills Hotel, with Jadee in a veil crossing the street like a movie scene. Bax and Lana Join the Session

Bax and Lana stole the first part of the session. In their bow ties, they walked the brick paths, posed by the roses and sat (mostly) still for family portraits in front of the park's fountain.

The Fountain and Pond at Will Rogers Memorial Park

The park is small but full of character: a tiered fountain, a pond framed by reeds and palms, and shaded brick paths. We used all of it, starting in Jadee and Richard's casual outfits and continuing after they changed into a white dress and a black suit.

Golden Hour in the Rose Garden

As the sun dropped, the lawn and rose beds started to glow. Richard swept Jadee off her feet under the big trees, and we finished the park portion with slow, close moments among the roses.

The Beverly Hills Hotel and Sunset Boulevard

For the finale, we crossed over to the Beverly Hills Hotel. Its green entrance sign and tropical plants are instantly recognizable, and Jadee added a veil for a playful walk across the crosswalk that looks straight out of a film.
