A Wedgewood Wedding in Aliso Viejo

Ivy and Chungman love eating good food and traveling together. Ivy describes Chungman as generous, kind and a little shy, and he would call her adventurous, loving and outgoing. They married on December 13, 2024 at Aliso Viejo by Wedgewood Weddings, starting with a first look and private vows, then a ceremony overlooking the golf course and a reception in the ballroom full of games, laughter and family. The Details

Ivy's details came in dusty blue and blush: a toile invitation suite, pearls, a gold bangle in a red box, and his and hers vow books for the private vows they had planned.

Ivy Gets Ready

Ivy got ready in the bridal suite at Aliso Viejo by Wedgewood Weddings with her maid of honor Linh, who also planned the wedding. She wore an off the shoulder gown with a jeweled hairpiece, then we took her out under the colonnade with her pink rose bouquet.

Chungman Gets Ready

Chungman wore a white tuxedo jacket with black lapels and got ready alongside his best man Eungdap in the groom's suite.

First Look and Private Vows

The first look and private vows were the part of the day Ivy and Chungman were most excited about. Ivy walked up behind him in the courtyard, and then they read their vows to each other from their his and hers books before anyone else arrived.

The ceremony was set on the lawn overlooking the golf course, with a white draped arch and pink petals lining the aisle. Pastor Stan led the ceremony, and it ended with a blessing from a pastor friend.

The ballroom was set with blush linens and gold chargers, with a polaroid guestbook, two kinds of party favors and a three tier white cake with a gold heart topper.

Grand Entrance and Couple Duet

DJ Maestro brought them in for the grand entrance, and Ivy and Chungman put on sunglasses for a couple duet that had the whole room laughing.

Linh shared her maid of honor speech, a slideshow played on the big screen, and Ivy and Chungman made their way around every table for photos.

Cake, Bouquet Handoff and Games

Instead of a bouquet toss, Ivy handed her bouquet to her mom. Then they cut the cake, guests filled photobooth strips, and the shoe game kicked off the party games.
