An LA Arboretum Engagement Session in Arcadia

Francesca and Daniel's engagement session at the Los Angeles County Arboretum moved through a little bit of everything the gardens are known for. They started in a relaxed first outfit on the garden paths and in the bamboo forest, then changed into a white dress and navy suit for the white gazebo, the waterfall and a golden hour walk across the lawn, with a few of the Arboretum's famous peacocks wandering by. Here is their LA Arboretum engagement session, photographed by One and Only Production.

Garden Paths and Roses

We began on the shaded garden paths, where tropical plants and wooden benches made for easy, natural moments. A walk through the rose garden and past its white pergola finished the first set, along with a close-up of the ring among the roses.

The Bamboo Forest

The Arboretum's bamboo forest is one of our favorite spots in the San Gabriel Valley. The tall stalks filter the light into soft stripes, and the paths that wind through them make every frame feel tucked away from the city.

The White Gazebo

For their second look, Francesca switched to a white dress and Daniel to a navy suit. The white gazebo framed them beautifully, and its benches gave us a place to slow down for quieter, closer portraits.

The Waterfall, Peacocks and Golden Hour

We finished by the waterfall and pond, then out on the open lawn as the sun dropped low. The Arboretum's peacocks made a surprise appearance, and the last light of the day wrapped up the session in gold.
