Constance & Lawrence's Treasure Island Engagement

A Treasure Island Engagement Session in Laguna Beach
Constance and Lawrence spent their engagement session at Treasure Island in Laguna Beach, where a sandstone arch, rocky tide pools and a wide stretch of sand sit right below a bluff-top park lined with palm trees. Constance started in a flowing sage and blue floral dress with Lawrence in a light linen shirt, then changed into soft white for the park. The two styles gave us a beach set and a garden set in one session without ever leaving the cove. Here is their Treasure Island engagement session, photographed by One and Only Production.
The Rock Arch at Treasure Island Beach
We started at the sandstone arch on the beach, which frames the sand and palm trees like a window. Constance and Lawrence stood under it, leaned against the rock and walked through it while we worked the light from every side.
Along the Shoreline
From the arch we headed toward the water and the tide pools, letting the waves come up around their feet. The open shoreline gave us room for walking shots, spins and a few close, quiet moments.
Constance and Lawrence
We always take a few portraits of each person on their own. Constance's floral dress looked beautiful against the sand and rocks, and her white dress on the bluff, while Lawrence kept it easy on the rocks in his linen shirt.
Palm Trees at Treasure Island Park
To finish, we walked up to Treasure Island Park on the bluff, where the lawn, the railings above the ocean and the tall palm trees gave the session a completely different feel.
Planning a Treasure Island Engagement Session?
Treasure Island packs a lot into one stop: a rock arch and tide pools on the sand, ocean overlooks along the bluff and a lawn of palm trees in the park. Check the tide before you go, since low tide opens up the rocks and pools, and plan a second outfit for the park. One and Only Production is a photo and video team based in West Covina, serving Los Angeles, Orange County and the Inland Empire in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. If you are planning your engagement session, we would love to hear your story. You can also see more of our work in our engagement portfolio.
