A University Club Wedding in Irvine

Clarissa and Austin love exploring together, from city streets to hiking trails, with plenty of good food and board game nights along the way. On Friday, August 1, 2025, they married at University Club by Wedgewood Weddings in Irvine, a garden venue on the UC Irvine campus with mature shade trees and a white pergola for the ceremony. The day started at Mason Regional Park for a lakeside first look, then moved to the University Club for letters to their parents, a faith-filled garden ceremony with a worship song led by one of the groomsmen, and a reception full of toasts, a gift toss and a packed dance floor. Their palette was soft peach, blush and butter yellow. Here are their University Club wedding photos, captured by One and Only Production.

Invitation Suite and Ring Details

Their invitation suite set the tone: watercolor florals, a bright orange RSVP card and an illustrated portrait of the two of them. Clarissa's rings sat among peach dahlias and garden roses from Olivia's Mum Floral Design.

Bridal Portraits at Mason Regional Park

Before heading to the venue, Clarissa spent a few minutes on her own by the lake at Mason Regional Park in Irvine. Her cathedral veil, a peach and blush bouquet and the fountain behind her made it easy.

Clarissa and Her Bridesmaids

Maids of honor Kamilla and Sue led a party of nine bridesmaids in mixed pastels of blush, butter yellow and mauve. Under the oak trees at the University Club they traded bouquets for a flower wreath and plenty of laughs.

Austin and His Groomsmen

Austin got ready by the lake with best men Nate and Kory and the rest of his groomsmen in classic black tuxedos. A pair of custom socks and a quick foosball game later, they headed to the University Club.

A Lakeside First Look

Austin waited with his back to the water while Clarissa walked up the path. The tears came quickly, and so did the hugs. Clarissa also shared a first look with her dad before family photos.

Wedding Party in the Garden

Eighteen friends filled the lawn at the University Club for group portraits, from a classic lineup to a tunnel of raised arms.

Letters to Their Parents and a Prayer

Before the ceremony, Clarissa and Austin gave letters to their parents, and there were happy tears all around. Then the bridesmaids gathered around Clarissa to pray over her.

A Garden Ceremony at the University Club

The ceremony took place in the University Club garden, with white chairs under mature trees and peach and blush florals along the aisle. Officiant Roger Lam led the vows, one of the groomsmen led a worship song, and Clarissa and Austin walked back up the aisle as newlyweds.

Reception Details in the Ballroom

The ballroom was set with draped ceilings, a wall of windows onto the garden and peach and blush centerpieces. Each place setting had a blush napkin tied into a bow.

Grand Entrance and First Dance

Guests were on their feet for the grand entrance, and Clarissa and Austin went straight into their first dance in the ballroom.

Toasts and a Father Daughter Dance

Friends and family took turns at the microphone, with plenty of laughs from the sweetheart table. Later, Clarissa shared a dance with her dad.

Gift Toss, Cake and Dance Floor

A gift toss sent the single guests scrambling, then Clarissa and Austin cut their three-tier cake. Between the All Hours Photobooth and DJ Blue Heart Entertainment, the dance floor stayed full until the end.
