Valerie & Danny's Bel-Air Bay Club Wedding Photos

A Bel-Air Bay Club Wedding in Pacific Palisades

Valerie and Danny met in college and have been exploring together ever since: new restaurants, travel, hikes and road trips, usually with their dogs Kohmie and Olaf and their cat Koji close by. On Sunday, May 10, 2026, they married at Bel-Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades, the 1920s Mediterranean clubhouse on the bluffs between Santa Monica and Malibu. Their palette was soft pastels with accents of sky blue, from the watercolor invitations to the bridesmaids' gowns and the delphinium and garden roses lining the ceremony lawn. The day held a first look with private vows, pets in the aisle, a private first dance, a traditional lion dance and a packed dance floor. Here are their Bel-Air Bay Club wedding photos, captured by One and Only Production.

Invitations, Rings and Flat Lay Details

The day started with the details: a watercolor invitation suite painted with Bel-Air Bay Club, rings tied in sky blue silk ribbon, and vow books ready for the first look. Danny's cognac shoes and light blue bow tie got a flat lay of their own in the groom's suite.

Getting Ready in the Bridal Suite

Valerie got ready in the bridal suite at Bel-Air Bay Club, where arched windows look out over the palms and the light stays soft all morning. Her gown hung in the doorway while the bridesmaids toasted with champagne in matching robes, and her first look with the bridesmaids happened on the balcony above the Pacific.

Danny and the Groomsmen

The groomsmen showed up in matching black jerseys before changing into ivory suits in the groom's suite. Danny finished with a light blue bow tie and his boutonniere, then the guys gathered by the fireplace before heading out for the first look.

A First Look and Private Vows on the Terrace

Valerie and Danny wanted time together before the crowd, so they shared their first look on the balustrade terrace and read their vows to each other there. Danny's reaction said everything.

Wedding Party Portraits Above the Pacific

Six bridesmaids in sky blue and six groomsmen in ivory filled the lawn, the stone staircases and the clifftop balustrade. Robes and sunglasses came first, then gowns and bouquets, then the whole wedding party together with the ocean behind them.

Kohmie, Olaf and Koji Join the Wedding

Their dogs Kohmie and Olaf and their cat Koji were part of the wedding, posing among the ceremony flowers before guests arrived. Family portraits on the ocean-view lawn followed, with grandma, parents and both families, all finished before the ceremony.

Portraits Around Bel-Air Bay Club

Between the lawn's edge, the stone staircases and the balconies, Bel-Air Bay Club has a portrait spot for every kind of light. We used the clifftop lawn for wide coastline frames, the staircases for classic portraits and the balcony for a final veil shot.

Ceremony on the Ocean-View Lawn

The ceremony faced the Pacific from the edge of the bluff, with delphinium and garden roses lining the aisle. Koji rode down the aisle in his pet backpack, Olaf and Kohmie followed as ring bearer and flower girl, and a family friend officiated as Valerie and Danny said their vows.

Room Reveal and a Private First Dance in the Dining Room

Before guests came inside, Valerie and Danny saw the finished Dining Room on their own: a travel-themed seating chart with tables named after cities they have visited, signature cocktails named after their pets, and a sweetheart table backed by the ceremony florals. Then they shared a private first dance with only the DJ, the planner and our cameras in the room.

Grand Entrance and a Traditional Lion Dance

The wedding party danced their way into the reception, then Lau Martial Club brought in the lions for a traditional lion dance, a blessing for the newlyweds and one of the loudest moments of the night.

Toasts, Table Greetings, Cake and Bouquet Toss

Friends and family gave the toasts, then Valerie and Danny changed into red to visit every table during dinner. Later Danny swapped into his jersey for the cake cutting, and Valerie tossed her bouquet to a crowd of friends.

Dance Floor and Beer Pong

Once the dance floor opened, the jerseys came back out, prop cash covered the floor and the night turned into a party. Out on the patio, beer pong kept going as long as the music did.

Your Bel-Air Bay Club Wedding Photographer

Bel-Air Bay Club books one wedding at a time, so the clubhouse, the cliffside ceremony lawn, the terraces and the ocean-facing Dining Room are yours for the day. For photos, plan a late afternoon ceremony, 15 to 20 minutes of portraits about an hour before sunset, and a few more minutes outside as the sky turns color. One and Only Production is a husband and wife wedding photographer and videographer team based in West Covina, serving Los Angeles, Orange County and the Inland Empire in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. If you are planning your own Bel-Air Bay Club wedding, we would love to hear your story. See more of our work in our wedding portfolio.
