Ariel & Alex at Camarillo Ranch House

A Camarillo Ranch House Wedding in Camarillo

Ariel and Alex met at a graduate school networking event and reconnected years later. They married on July 24, 2022 at Camarillo Ranch House in Camarillo, a Victorian house surrounded by gardens, a gazebo and a big red barn. Ariel's bridesmaids wore coral, Alex wore navy with his groomsmen in black, and the florals were peach, orange and white. The day moved from a first look on the porch to heartfelt vows at the gazebo, a reception on the lawn, a choreographed first dance and games under the string lights. Here is their Camarillo Ranch wedding, photographed by One and Only Production.

The Details

Ariel's floral lace gown hung in the window of the ranch house, alongside Alex's navy suit, tan shoes, their rings in a red box and an invitation styled with orange and peach blooms.

Ariel Gets Ready at Camarillo Ranch House

Ariel got ready in a Victorian bridal room inside Camarillo Ranch House, with a blue tufted settee, lace curtains and plenty of window light. Her bridesmaids wore coral robes, and her bouquet of peach and white blooms trailed a long orange ribbon.

Alex Gets Ready

Alex wore a navy suit and got ready with his groomsmen, who found time for a game of pool before heading out to the red barn for portraits.

The Wedding Party

The bridesmaids wore coral and the groomsmen wore black, and we gathered everyone under the sprawling old tree and in front of the ranch house.

First Look on the Porch

Alex waited on the white lattice porch of Camarillo Ranch House while Ariel came up behind him for their first look.

Portraits Around the Ranch

Camarillo Ranch gave us a little of everything: the Victorian porch and steps, a formal garden with a fountain, the gazebo and the big red barn. We finished with the house lit up after dark.

Ceremony at the Gazebo

The ceremony took place at the gazebo framed by palm trees, with peach and white florals on the arch and bud vases along the aisle. Ariel and Alex shared heartfelt vows, then walked back up the aisle as newlyweds.

Reception on the Lawn

Dinner was set on the lawn in front of the ranch house with long tables, orange napkins and peach and coral florals, plus a greenery wall with a neon sign.

The Grand Entrance

The wedding party made their entrance down the steps of the house, sunglasses and all, before Ariel and Alex joined them on the dance floor.

A Choreographed First Dance

Ariel and Alex surprised everyone with a choreographed first dance on the outdoor floor, with the Victorian house glowing behind them.

Speeches

Friends shared toasts on the lawn, and Ariel and Alex spent most of them laughing.

Reception Games

After dark the dance floor turned into a game show, with Ariel and Alex back to back and guests lined up on chairs.

Bouquet and Cake

Ariel tossed her bouquet under the string lights, then they cut their cake in front of the lit ranch house.

The Dance Floor

The rest of the night was all dancing under the string lights and colored floor lights.
