Amy & Sam at the Muckenthaler Mansion

A Muckenthaler Mansion Wedding in Fullerton

Amy and Sam were introduced by a friend who thought they might get along. A dinner turned into a few more dates, and things grew naturally from there. Amy is warm and thoughtful, Sam is calm and supportive, and together they laugh at silly voices and inside jokes. They married on August 2, 2025 at the Muckenthaler Mansion in Fullerton, with a ceremony in the Italian Garden and a reception on the Adella Lawn. Here is their Muckenthaler Mansion wedding, photographed by One and Only Production.

The Details

Amy's flat lay kept everything soft and green: a sage invitation suite, Byredo Blanche perfume, their rings and a handwritten vow card tucked into white roses and greenery.

Amy at the Muckenthaler

Amy got ready at home in Fullerton, then we photographed her around the Muckenthaler mansion, from the brick steps and arched doorways to the sunroom with its tall windows.

Sam Gets Ready

Sam wore a classic black tuxedo with a white boutonniere, calm and ready on the mansion steps.

First Look by the Mansion Steps

Amy walked up the garden path and tapped Sam on the shoulder at the foot of the mansion steps, and the hug that followed set the tone for the whole day.

Portraits Around the Muckenthaler

The Muckenthaler is a Spanish style mansion with a curved staircase, a carved entrance and palm lined gardens. Later in the day Amy and Sam changed into second looks for a few golden hour portraits on the lawn.

Ceremony in the Italian Garden

The ceremony was held in the Italian Garden under an iron arbor wrapped in greenery. Both mothers walked in wearing hanbok, Amy read her vows to Sam, and they walked back up the aisle to cheers.

Reception on the Adella Lawn

Dinner was on the Adella Lawn with gold chairs, white wildflower centerpieces by Wild and Behold and sage green details that matched the invitations.

First Dance and Speeches

Amy and Sam had their first dance on the lawn as the sun went down, followed by toasts from family and friends.

Games and Parent Dances

MC Danny Ko of Life Stories Event kept the guests laughing with games under the string lights, and Amy and Sam each danced with their moms in hanbok.

Cake and Bouquet

They cut their white cake from Patty's Cake by candlelight, and Amy tossed her bouquet under the string lights.

Family and Friends

Amy and Sam asked us to make sure their families were captured, so we made time for family photos around the mansion and garden.
